Omega Seiki Mobility Raises ₹50 Crore to Expand EV Manufacturing and R&D

Omega Seiki Mobility has raised ₹50 crore in a fresh funding round as it looks to scale up its electric vehicle business. The company plans to use the capital to expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen research and development, improve its dealer and service network, and speed up the launch of new electric mobility products.

The round comes at a time when India’s EV market is becoming more competitive, with manufacturers under pressure to deliver not only new products but also stronger supply chains, better performance, and dependable after-sales support. By directing the funds toward manufacturing and engineering, Omega Seiki Mobility is signaling that it wants to build a stronger operational base before pushing harder on expansion.

Omega Seiki Mobility has a presence across multiple electric vehicle categories, including cargo three-wheelers, passenger vehicles, premium electric two-wheelers, and electric light commercial vehicles. Its manufacturing operations in Faridabad and Pune give it a foundation to increase production as demand grows.

The company’s latest fundraise is also a sign that investors continue to see opportunity in commercial EVs, especially in segments tied to logistics and urban transport. Unlike splashy growth rounds focused mainly on scale, this one appears centered on execution, with capital going into the areas most critical to long-term growth: production, product development, and service infrastructure.

There is also a broader industry message in the deal. As the EV sector moves from early hype toward practical adoption, companies that can combine manufacturing depth with reliable technology are likely to stand out. Omega Seiki Mobility’s latest funding suggests it is positioning itself for that next phase.
